Our Bristol Base
There is plenty to discover in Bristol, the UK's main city in the south west, and the surrounding coast and countryside.
The modern developments of Harbourside, Temple Quay and the new Cabot Circus shopping centre (to be completed in 2008) are situated alongside the Old City, Brandon Hill and many parks and gardens.
Explore the Queen's Road area, Whiteladies Road and Clifton Village for beautiful Georgian architecture and a great range of large and small speciality shops, cafes and restaurants.
Outside the city there are busy towns and villages, each with a different feel and character. Clevedon, Thornbury, Castle Combe and Chipping Sodbury are all within easy reach of the centre of Bristol.
Bristol is also the gateway to the South West of England, providing the perfect base to explore the area, and Bath is just 15 minutes away by train, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Cardiff is only 40 minutes from Bristol by train; Swansea and the beautiful Gower Peninsular are easily accessible by train or car..
